More than just a story about being trapped in a foreign civil war, this film dramatizes a remarkable true incident from the Somali Civil War. In the chaos, North Korean officials, on the verge of being captured by rebels, are compelled to seek asylum at the South Korean embassy. This act of grudging generosity leads to an uneasy partnership, as the two groups from a divided peninsula must now collaborate to escape to a third location—the Italian embassy.
